This compendium of digital works by Jeffrey Hewitt consists of kaleidoscopic, geometric and mirrored works created using photographic source material. These highly optical images are often times created in multiples, where variations of digital effects alter the outcome of these images. These pieces were considered “collages” by the artist. In some cases the original source photo can be recognized, but just as in a traditional collage practice, the original photo is often degraded, distorted or broken into unrecognizable textures.
